Governor Parson and Uniting Missouri PAC have a combined $6.6 million war chest
ST. LOUIS – Today Uniting Missouri PAC, a group supporting Governor Mike Parson, announced it raised over $1.6 million in the second quarter of 2020 and has $5.1 million cash on hand. Governor Mike Parson raised nearly $500,000 and has over $1.5 million cash on hand despite largely shifting his efforts to combating the COVID-19 pandemic. Team Parson outraised Team Galloway during the second quarter and holds a dominant financial position, with a more than 2:1 cash advantage.
Uniting Missouri PAC Chairman John Hancock, “As Governor Parson stepped up to lead Missouri through the COVID-19 crisis, Uniting Missouri PAC stepped up to ensure that the resources are in place to achieve a Parson victory in November. We’re grateful for the continued support as the governor focuses on leading our state to a strong recovery. Uniting Missouri PAC will have Governor Parson’s back as he focuses on saving lives and livelihoods.” Yesterday Uniting Missouri PAC launched a five-figure ad buy highlighting Governor Parson’s efforts to combat COVID-19. The ad also takes aim at State Auditor Nicole Galloway, who has sent over 40 fundraising emails since March 13th and participated in over 100 events, for engaging in politics as usual during the coronavirus crisis.
